What is tranquility?

Webster defines tranquility as being "free from agitation of mind or spirit". Which got me thinking about agitation. Do you remember the old top-loading washing machines? That column in the middle was a literal agitator. That's what it was called, an agitator. It would beat our clothes against one another with the promise that somehow, this motion would make them clean. Agitated.

Now, we have front loading machines that just spin and float our clothes. They come out clean and free of agitation.

I know that simple fact makes me feel better.

Isn't it possible, even probable, that our clothes picked up those vibrations, that agitation? Why would we add that negative energy to our lives? My goal is to live in tranquility, and I'm starting with my clothes.

Please join me on this journey - as we work together to find tranquility in our lives.

Our lives as mothers, wives, and women.

Say it with me: "Tranquil Mother, Wife, Woman"
